MALIBU, CA - Pepperdine sophomore John O’Dowd, 19, is reportedly now the “most despised student on campus” according to sources close to the university’s undergraduate student body.
Fellow sophomore and former close associate of John O’Dowd, Brady Mulligan, said it all started when, “[Mulligan] paid for hisChick-fil-A meal, even got [John] a milkshake after he said he was good for it. After about a week or so I ask him about my money as we’re in the register line at the caf. He told me he had me right before telling the cashier he’d paid for mine and then gave me a smile. I had no idea what to say.” Brady furthered saying, “It’s almost April, and he’s a sophomore, he should know better than this.”
The past week other students have come forward, citing instances in which Jack O’Dowd had used meal points to pay back a plethora of different goods and services ranging from dinners at restaurants including Marmalade to gas money.
One student who chose to remain anonymous disclosed, “I gave him a haircut in my own dorm room, at his request no less. He didn’t help clean up. He decided we’d be square a couple weeks later when he bought me a fucking chicken teriyaki bowl. I’m still finding patches of his hair on my carpet.”
Among the testimonies given by eyewitnesses recurred the sentiment, “Everyone knows Meal Points aren’t real money.”
