Pepperdine Professors Armed and Ready
Malibu, CA - In light of recent gun violence on school campuses, there have been suggestions to provide teachers with arms to be used as protection in such situations. Pepperdine has since jumped on this preparedness and are prepping teachers in their own way.
“People want to buy guns for teachers. We’re doing one better. We’re arming our professors with the Word of God,” boasted Pepperdine Department of Public Safety director Chris Dowdall in a press release Thursday. “We’ve been providing students and instructors with the one true weapon against evil for the past 80 years. AK-47? More like Always Know Jesus 24/7!”
At press time, sources witnessed DPS officers distributing NLT Bibles to teachers, as well as Bible holsters, so they could be pulled out at a moment’s notice.
