Report: Some People Actually Enjoy Hike to Cross

MALIBU, CA - According to a campus-wide survey taken by 837 students of all four undergraduate classes, some people actually enjoy the hike to the cross for some reason.

A staggering 47 percent of the survey’s participants reported actually finding the hour-long hike up a rocky and dusty mountain whose only vegetation are sparse and withering away shrubbery to be enjoyable in some capacity. Additionally 39 percent of respondents also answered they do think that getting one’s clothes dirty and making one generally smelly after clawing their way up and down the rust orange gravel is a good way to spend a Saturday Afternoon, and 37 percent went as far as to say it’s a good way to spend a Saturday Morning. Jesus.

“It’s just a great way to exercise and see the natural beauty we have here in Malibu,” said freshman Iris Amora, 18, who doesn’t get that a walk down to Alumni Park and back gives you pretty much the same package with less work.

Somehow, 45 percent of respondents answered they do find the view, which is just the same view Pepperdine has but a bit higher and maybe you see more buildings or whatever and there’s a simple cross behind you while you sit on dirt while letting the sun beat down on you, to be worth the journey.
